            In conjunction with former President Barack Obama’s Fatherhood Initiative, which continues, we honor and celebrate fathers and father figures for their commitment to our youth and for the positive difference that they make every day.  We seek to encourage individuals, especially fathers, to be involved in the lives of their children, and to be positive role models and mentors for the children in their lives and communities.

            Our activities and involvement in the community are significant and includes the mentoring of many young people and raising thousands of dollars to award to deserving college bound high school seniors through our scholarship and essay programs.  Additionally, we participate in the donating of blood via our blood drives in Stamford and Norwalk, as well as sponsoring and serving meals through a variety of homeless shelters and community centers.  Through our annual Talent Hunt Program that is accompanied by stipends, we continue a distinguished legacy of tribute to youths in the arts by our beloved Fraternity.  Categories of competition are: Instrumental Solo (Classical, Semi-Classical, Jazz, Gospel), Vocal solo (Classical, Semi-Classical, Jazz, Gospel), Piano solo (Classical, Semi-Classical, Jazz, Gospel), Dance Interpretations (Modern, Jazz, Tap, Liturgical) and Dramatic Interpretations (Poetry, dramatic reading, monologue, et.).

            Your support and the proceeds from these events, along with any donations that we receive, help us to continue providing outstanding and award winning programs, activities and events, as well as scholarships.  Our members live by the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift and seek to positively impact our community through our programs and with our service.
